On April 25, 2019 The Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works of Iraq and ILF's delegation, headed by the Executive Vice President Andreas Ramharter, the Managing Directors Klaus Jürgen Schick and Atilla Awchy as well as ILF’s Iraqi Liaison Engineer Ahmad Hikmat celebrated the contract signing for one of Iraq’s most important water projects in decades: The Project Development, Engineering and Site Supervision Services for the Seawater Desalination Plant in the Basra Governorate.
